Thank you for your feedback, Jennah. However, I do believe that as times change so do our spiritual needs. Nowhere in my post do I refer to our incense ritual as &quot;neutral&quot;. To the contrary, it is in these trying times that we need to connect with God or the higher power as each of us sees it in order to live an inspired life. This is the meaning of the incense ritual I mention and very close to what my grandparents did. Again thank you for sharing your thoughts.]]></description>

Your grandparents did this while praying and inviting God into their homes, and lives. They offered incense as a physical sign of their prayers going up to God to reach Him in heaven.
