Thank you for your feedback, Jennah. However, I do believe that as times change so do our spiritual needs. Nowhere in my post do I refer to our incense ritual as "neutral". To the contrary, it is in these trying times that we need to connect with God or the higher power as each of us sees it in order to live an inspired life. This is the meaning of the incense ritual I mention and very close to what my grandparents did. Again thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I’m just saying, making this “incense ritual” a completely neutral act of spirituality is so sad!!

Your grandparents did this while praying and inviting God into their homes, and lives. They offered incense as a physical sign of their prayers going up to God to reach Him in heaven.

Not some neutral spiritual mumbo jumbo.

Dear Elaine, thank you so much for your comment. There is nothing more rewarding for a blogger/journalist/content creator to hear that all their research, passion and hard work hits a spot with readers. My warmest appreciation. And please pass the word on about The Greek Vibe... every little bit counts!
